Total Compensation: Up to $220,000 per year
- $120,000 base salary
- Up to $100,000 annual performance bonus

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Outreach to lead our outreach and alumni teams while driving business development and admissions growth across our organization. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-focused professional with a proven background in behavioral healthcare outreach, sales, or business development.
The Director of Outreach will cultivate referral partnerships, strengthen industry relationships, mentor a high-performing team, and develop strategies that increase admissions while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Director of Outreach will manage the outreach team, providing hands-on day-to-day oversight to ensure the team effectively builds referral partnerships and supports business development goals.
- The Director of Outreach will manage the alumni team, fostering engagement, and build an amazing aftercare program.
- The Director of Outreach will drive admissions to Akua by developing and executing targeted outreach strategies, identifying new opportunities, and converting relationships into sustainable referral volume.
- The Director of Outreach will create and maintain strong industry relationships, cultivating trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across the behavioral healthcare landscape to expand the organization’s referral network and market presence.
- The Director of Outreach will always operate with integrity and uphold the highest standards of ethics, ensuring all outreach, admissions, and relationship-building activities reflect the organization’s commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- 5+ years of behavioral healthcare experience (preferred)
- Previous leadership or management experience (preferred)
