Account Manager

Location: California

About U.S. Legal Support

U.S. Legal Support is one of the nation's largest providers of litigation support services, helping law firms, insurance carriers, corporations, and government agencies streamline the discovery and litigation process. We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our growing California team.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and serving as a trusted partner to legal professionals.

Position Overview

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing an assigned territory through a combination of existing account management and new client acquisition. You will build relationships with legal professionals at all levels, including attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, legal administrators, office managers, and firm leadership.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where relationship building and customer service are equally important.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Conduct cold calls, prospecting activities, in-person visits, and sales presentations.
  • Represent U.S. Legal Support at networking events, industry associations, trade shows, and business functions.
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies.
Account Management
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for customers by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive client experience.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
Client Training & Implementation
  • Assist with onboarding and implementation of new client relationships.
  • Train attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, and legal administrators on the effective use of U.S. Legal Support's services and technology platforms.
  • Ensure clients maximize the value of our solutions.
Reporting & Collaboration
  • Track sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, pipeline, and opportunities.
  • Meet regularly with sales leadership for coaching, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
QualificationsRequired
  • 1–2 years of professional sales, account management, or client-facing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.
Preferred
  • Experience within the litigation support, court reporting, records retrieval, legal services, or related industry.
  • Experience working in a law firm, legal department, or insurance environment.
  • Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
