Claims Service Representative 2 (Bilingual)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Claims Service Representative 2 (Bilingual) based in Canada.

This role provides an opportunity to support customers during important moments by guiding them through the initial stages of their insurance claims journey. You will be responsible for collecting essential claim information, answering customer questions, and ensuring a smooth and empathetic experience. Working in a remote environment, you will combine strong communication skills with attention to detail and efficient problem-solving. The position plays a key role in delivering high-quality customer service while helping customers navigate unexpected situations. You will collaborate with internal teams and follow established processes to ensure accurate claim handling. Accountabilities:
  • Handle first notice of loss reports for non-complex auto and property claims while ensuring accurate and complete information collection.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding claims processes, policies, and next steps with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers through their claim experience and explaining available options clearly.
  • Gather, document, and update claim information accurately while maintaining quality and process standards.
  • Determine appropriate next steps, including inspections, emergency services, vendor coordination, or other required actions when needed.
  • Receive, manage, and route incoming phone calls and electronic communications related to claims.
  • Retrieve, organize, and process supporting documentation, including claim files, forms, and correspondence.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, email communication, and document processing.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Experience in auto or property claims handling is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Strong ability to provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and handle high volumes of tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills when managing customer information and claim documentation.
  • Empathetic, patient, and solution-oriented approach to customer interactions.
