We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Skilled Nursing team at The Knollwood Nursing Canter within the Briarwood community located in Worcester, MA. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on care and support to residents while helping promote their dignity, comfort, safety, and overall well-being. You’ll work alongside a collaborative nursing and care team in a supportive environment focused on exceptional resident service.
Position Type: Full Time (Subacute)
Shift Type: 11pm-7am (3rd Shift)
Hourly Pay: $19-25
Your RoleUnder the supervision of the nursing team and in collaboration with CNAs, nurses, and other care team members, you will:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Support residents with breakfast, meals, and morning routines
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care
- Monitor resident health and well-being and promptly report changes or concerns to nursing staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Document care and services provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Support residents' physical, social, and emotional well-being
- Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other care team members
- Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care preferred but not required
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
