The Warehouse Associate keeps material flowing safely and accurately between the warehouse, yard, and field crews at Bear Electrical Solutions. This role receives, inspects, and stores incoming electrical materials and equipment, then pulls and stages what crews need to keep jobs moving on schedule.

Working hands-on with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, the Warehouse Associate loads and unloads vehicles and deliveries, makes local runs to job sites and supply houses, and keeps inventory records accurate and up to date.

Success in this role means a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard, reliable material support for field crews, and dependable, detail-oriented work every shift.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Material Receiving & Inventory Control

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming electrical materials and equipment.
• Perform basic inspection of materials for damage or discrepancies, assisting purchasing/warehouse management with receiving paperwork and packing slips.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report low-stock or missing items.
• Identify and properly organize common electrical materials such as conduit, fittings, wire, boxes, gear, and hardware (can be trained).

Warehouse & Yard Operations

• Pull, stage, and organize material for upcoming jobs and field crews.
• Load and unload company vehicles, vendor deliveries, and freight trucks.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment (forklift experience preferred but not required; training provided).
• Keep warehouse, yard, and material storage areas clean, safe, and organized.

Deliveries & Field Support

• Make local deliveries and pickups to job sites, vendors, and supply houses.
• Assist with tool and equipment check-in/check-out, and help track returned material from completed jobs.
• Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting practices.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, construction, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.

Industry Knowledge

• Electrical/construction material knowledge is a plus but not required; willingness to learn electrical materials, warehouse procedures, and inventory systems.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Forklift certification a plus but not required; training can be provided.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment.

Communication & Influence

• Good communication and customer-service skills when dealing with vendors, field employees, and customers.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
