Job Description

AI & Automation Implementation Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI & Automation Implementation Specialist based in the United States.

This entry-level, fully remote role focuses on turning repetitive business processes into streamlined, scalable automated workflows.
You’ll map existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into clear specifications for developers.
The role spans HR, marketing, brand reputation, content operations, and other areas where automation can reduce manual work.
You’ll work hands-on with low-code automation platforms, APIs, AI tools, and connected business systems.
A major part of the role involves testing workflows thoroughly, supporting adoption, and measuring improvements in time, accuracy, and efficiency.
You’ll work in a fast-moving environment where curiosity, ownership, organization, and a willingness to experiment with new technology are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Map existing manual workflows and identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative and operational tasks.

  • Design and implement workflows using low-code and no-code automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, and AI-enabled tools.

  • Develop ATS and payroll-related automations, AI-assisted onboarding materials, and dashboards supporting workforce performance, scheduling, and operational coverage.

  • Build and maintain marketing and brand-reputation workflows, including advertising performance monitoring, local Google Business Profile tracking, influencer outreach support, brand sentiment monitoring, and email/SMS triggers.

  • Support AI-assisted content workflows for planning, routing, and publishing social media and website content across multiple brands.

  • Translate business processes into clear step-by-step specifications, operational rules, integration requirements, and business logic for developers.

  • Coordinate with developers on APIs, integrations, workflow requirements, and implementation details without requiring full-stack software development.

  • Thoroughly test automations before launch, identify errors or edge cases, and coordinate improvements until workflows operate reliably.

  • Support internal teams during adoption of new automated tools and processes.

  • Track the impact of automation by monitoring time savings, error reduction, workflow performance, and other operational improvements.

  • Maintain appropriate human-in-the-loop safeguards for sensitive HR, financial, customer, and other high-impact communications.

  • Take ownership of assigned implementation projects, timelines, documentation, and deliverables.

Requirements
  • Experience using or strong familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or comparable AI automation tools.

  • Exceptional organizational and process-mapping skills, with the ability to break complex or inconsistent routines into clear, repeatable digital workflows.

  • Ability to understand APIs, integrations, data flows, and business logic and communicate requirements clearly to technical developers.

  • Basic familiarity with digital marketing tools and concepts, including advertising, SEO, and CRM platforms.

  • Familiarity with HR, scheduling, ATS, or workforce management platforms such as BambooHR or similar systems is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail when testing workflows and identifying exceptions.

  • Proactive builder mindset with a willingness to experiment, learn new technologies quickly, and turn ideas into working solutions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when translating business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet project deadlines, and take ownership with limited supervision.

  • Interest in AI, automation, operational efficiency, and emerging technology.

  • A portfolio, project screenshots, or examples of automations you have built can strengthen your application.

  • Applicants should be comfortable explaining a real workflow they have created using low-code tools in their own words.

Benefits
  • Salary: $42,000 USD per year.

  • Work arrangement: Fully remote position for candidates based in the United States.

  • Career exposure: Direct opportunity to work on automation initiatives supporting HR, marketing, content, operations, and brand functions.

  • Technology experience: Hands-on exposure to AI tools, low-code automation platforms, APIs, integrations, and business systems.

  • Growth opportunity: Opportunity to develop practical experience in AI implementation, workflow automation, process optimization, and digital operations.

  • Ownership: Significant responsibility for building, testing, improving, and deploying automation workflows.

  • Fast-paced environment: Work in a growth-oriented setting where experimentation, execution, and continuous improvement are encouraged.
