Nursing Services Coordinator in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of assigned nursing functions to support Nursing Services. Assists in the coordination of University Health COVID vaccination of visitors. Assists with the onboarding, competency validation and orienting of critical staffing contract nurses. Promotes University Health’s guest relations policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Five years or more nursing experience required. Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required. Current National Certification is required. BSN required.

LICENSURE
Must possess a current RN license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
