APV is looking for a Lead Low Voltage Technician for Northern Virginia. APV is the premiere commercial door & security provider in the region. You will work directly with our Security team taking service calls and installing security systems.

Job Title: Lead Security Technician

Pay Range: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour

About the Role:

Install, program, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage electronic access control and video security systems and products.Install cabling for access and video systems.Read and understand floor plans and electrical diagrams.Mount system panels and devices. Wire circuits and electrical connections for access control and video security.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required2+ years of integrated low voltage experience to include electrical wiring, electronics installation, and mechanical equipment installation. DCJS certified Electronic Security Technician. Desired: Experience or certification in AMAG, ACRE, Feenics, Cbord, Vanderbilt, Genea, Avigilon, Brivo or similar major access control, video security systems or vendors.Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.Driving record that meets operational and/or insurance requirements.
