Overview
Lynker Corporation is seeking to hire a qualified candidate to support a contract with NOAA Research Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER). These are full-time positions that may be performed on-site or remotely, with anticipated travel in support of meetings, workshops, and field activities. Hiring for these positions will be contingent on contract award. Lynker will be operating under its Propel joint venture, a NOAA ProTech Oceans 2.0 prime contract holder.
This Contract is Contingent on Contract Award.
The contractor shall provide technical and administrative services for the planning, coordination, and execution of ocean-related projects and partnerships.
Responsibilities
Duties of the Science and Technology Projects and Grant Support will include the following:
- Project and Funding: Coordinating the planning and execution of ocean projects with NOAA laboratories, universities, and cooperative institutes. This includes coordinating Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs) and Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), with a focus on ocean technology and marine geology grants.
- Operational and Mission Services: Providing technical services regarding ship and ocean platform operational capabilities, including requirement definitions, mission planning, scheduling, and resourcing to meet science requirements.
- Administrative and Financial Coordination: Preparing and coordinating IAAs, MOUs, spend plans, and cooperative institute (CI) task orders for approved projects. This includes tracking budgets, funds distribution, and serving as the administrative Point of Contact (POC) for project reporting.
- Program Liaison: Serving as a liaison for the OER-Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) partnership; drafting work plans; monitoring reporting status; and coordinating the execution of partnership agreements.
