This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Specialty Sales Operations Planner based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of sales strategy, analytics, and operational execution, supporting high-impact planning activities for specialty sales teams.
You will play a key role in shaping territory design, quota planning, and capacity modeling to enable predictable and scalable revenue performance.
Working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams.
The role requires strong analytical capability and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and planning decisions.
You will also manage and optimize CRM and CPQ tools, ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and system reliability.
This position is highly strategic and operational, blending hands-on systems work with high-level sales planning support.
It offers the opportunity to directly influence sales effectiveness and business outcomes across a dynamic organization.
- Support sales planning cycles including annual and quarterly territory planning, quota setting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Partner with Sales leadership to develop capacity models and optimize territory and resource allocation.
- Manage CRM systems (including Salesforce) and ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and process consistency.
- Support quote-to-order lifecycle activities, including pricing, configuration, and coordination with order management teams.
- Build, maintain, and analyze dashboards, reports, and performance insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align assumptions and planning inputs.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements across sales operations workflows.
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests and provide actionable recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales operations, sales planning, or related analytical roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM; Anaplan experience required.
- Experience with Oracle CPQ and/or pricing tools is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into business insights.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical or system-related concepts for business users.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional environment.
- Experience in forecasting, demand planning, or SaaS/data-driven sales environments is a plus.
