You will play a vital role in minimizing liabilities and maximizing recoveries while maintaining a strong member-first mindset.
If you're experienced in collections, skilled at defusing tense situations, and passionate about helping improve the lives of our members, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Post and transfer late payments and payments to negative deposit accounts, prepare and mail member correspondence, and keep member information current in the system. Balance empathy and professionalism to maintain positive member relationships throughout the collection process.
Handling High-Pressure Conversations

Maximizing Recoveries
Leverage data-driven insights and member interactions to implement strategic solutions that reduce Credit Union liabilities and increase recoveries. Process required claims on loan products and assist members with any corrections needed on their accounts.
Delivering Impactful Results
Continuously assess members' financial situations, adapting repayment plans as needed to keep accounts current. Resolve issues efficiently and establish sustainable agreements that support long-term stability and timely payment for both members and the Credit Union.
Maintaining Records and Reporting Trends
Maintain accurate records, files, and reports on all collection activity, and inform management of trends that contribute to delinquent and charged-off loans.
Ensuring Regulatory Excellence
Rigorously adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the collections process. Stay informed of changes in regulatory standards so every step is ethical, compliant, and focused on protecting both the Credit Union and its members.
Collaborating Across Teams
Partner across departments and with third-party partners of the Credit Union to address member needs, reduce financial losses, and strengthen the Credit Union's overall service effectiveness.
