**This position is based and will office in the Monnett, MO office M-F.
Summary
The Director of Information Technology (IT) is responsible for leading the development and execution of the organization’s IT strategy to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency. This role oversees all aspects of technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and IT operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable solutions across the enterprise. The Director of IT works closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure technology initiatives align with organizational priorities and deliver measurable value.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all IT functions, including infrastructure, network administration, help desk, ERP systems, cybersecurity, and business applications.
- Establish and maintain IT governance, policies, standards, and procedures to support operational excellence across all locations.
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead IT projects, system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage IT operating and capital budgets to optimize technology investments and control costs.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for the Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring service performance, reliability, and SLA compliance.
- Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, backup strategies, and infrastructure resiliency.
- Direct cybersecurity strategy, risk management, compliance, security awareness, incident response, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and optimize enterprise applications, including ongoing support of legacy ERP platforms and transition planning.
- Provide executive leadership for the Acumatica ERP implementation, including configuration, integrations, testing, go-live, user adoption, and post-implementation optimization.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, software providers, telecommunications partners, and third-party service organizations.
- Support technology operations across multiple manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution facilities, ensuring reliability of production, inventory, logistics, and supply chain systems.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure technology solutions support organizational growth, efficiency, and customer service objectives.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; Master’s preferred
- 8–10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership experience
- Experience leading ERP implementations (Acumatica preferred; Sage experience a plus)
- Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs)
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives
