Job Description
Discover. Real. Growth.
At The Brand Leader®, Discover. Real. Growth. is not just something we deliver to clients. It defines how we build careers.
Discover your potential.
Create work that shows up in the real world.
Grow your skills, your portfolio, and your leadership.
For 27 years, we have built and led national brands across industries. With strategy, creative, digital, photography, and video under one roof, we bring brands full circle from idea to execution.
About the internship
If you are already the one making the content, posting for a club, a team, a local business, or your own channels, and you have figured out that this is what you actually want to do, keep reading.
This is a fall internship for someone who loves social content and wants to learn how it really gets made at an agency, for real brands, every single day. You will not be stuck on busywork or watching from the sidelines. From week one you are inside our content team, helping create work that goes live for actual clients, guided by our strategy, digital, and account teams so you learn the why behind every piece, not just the how.
We build brands here. You will help create the content that brings them to life.
Where you'll fit
You will work alongside our Content Creator, Social Strategist, and account teams, and spend real time in TBL Studios, our in-house production space. Think of yourself as a second set of hands and a fresh set of eyes on the content pipeline. You bring ideas and energy, we bring the strategy, structure, and coaching.
You are not on an island. Every brand you touch already has a strategist, an account lead, and a creative behind it. Your job is to plug into that process, support the team's daily output, and make it better. Along the way you learn how strategy becomes a brief, a brief becomes a shoot, and a shoot becomes weeks of content across channels.
What you'll do
Create content
- Shoot and edit short-form video: product, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, talking head, and trend-driven formats.
- Capture photography for product, lifestyle, and brand moments.
- Turn a brief and a set of brand guidelines into content that fits the brand and the platform.
Support the daily pipeline
- Help create fresh content for multiple brands, day in and day out, under the direction of our content, strategy, and digital team.
- Jump on opportunistic content when the moment shows up, whether that is a shoot, a trend, or a studio session.
- Deliver organized, on-time assets the account teams can publish.
Bring ideas
- Watch what is working across platforms and bring trends, formats, and concepts to the team.
- Pitch ideas without waiting to be asked. Some of the best content starts with an intern who noticed something first.
Learn the craft
- Sit close to how strategy, creative, and accounts work together, so you understand the full lifecycle, not just the shot.
- Spend time in TBL Studios learning how bigger productions turn into months of usable social content.
What we're looking for
- A junior or senior at the post- secondary education level, working toward a degree in marketing, communications, or business, or something close. Curiosity and instinct matter more than a specific major.
- Someone already creating social content and comfortable on the major platforms.
- Working knowledge of editing tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, or Photoshop. You do not need all of them. Show us what you use.
- A creator who moves quickly, takes ownership, and cares about doing it well.
- Someone who wants to be coached and wants to grow.
What success looks like
- You are creating real content for real brands within your first few weeks.
- You bring ideas the team did not ask for, and some of them ship.
- You understand not just how to make a piece of content, but why it fits the brand.
- You leave in December a stronger, faster, more strategic creator than you were in August, with a body of published work to show for it.
