In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, preparing estimates and proposals, and guiding projects from the initial customer inquiry through project completion. You will work closely with operations to ensure projects are delivered successfully while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales- Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and company-provided leads.
- Meet with residential and commercial customers to evaluate project needs for asphalt paving, asphalt maintenance, and concrete services.
- Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and contracts.
- Present solutions and recommendations that meet customer needs and project objectives.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and existing customers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing within company guidelines while maintaining profitability goals.
- Achieve established sales and revenue goals.
- Develop long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Evaluate project scope, site conditions, and feasibility.
- Coordinate project details with operations and production teams.
- Communicate scheduling expectations and project updates with customers.
- Manage project changes and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Support successful project execution from sale through completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate customer records, estimates, notes, and follow-up activities within the company CRM.
- Track sales activity, lead sources, and customer communications.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with estimating, operations, dispatch, accounting, and management to ensure successful project execution.
- Represent Asphalt Contractors, Inc. professionally within the community.
