Schedule:

Every other Saturdays 8:00AM-4:00PM at our Annandale Office. All new hires are required to attend first-day orientation at our Mount Olive office before reporting to their assigned work location or training site.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Performs CT procedures for referring physicians of a quality that aids in the diagnosis of the patient.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform CT examinations on patients of all ages including the administration of contrast material as assignedinaccordance withestablished guidelines in a manner that ensuresan accurateand complete examination and treatment providing the highest patient care.

1. Always verifypatientwith exam order and study to be performed prior to placingpatienton the scanningtable.

1. Organize and document all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with the referring physician(s) and the radiologist to ensureaccurateandtimelyperformance of procedures.

1. Knowledge of scheduling procedures for CT and MRI.

1. Maintenance and organization of patient film file recordsin our EMR and on site as needed.

1. Handling patient priors as needed.

1. Checking and verifying exam with EMR order vs Rx

1. Verifying images, notes, authorizationnumber ifpertinent to patient exams.

1. Verifying Physician study routing preferences.

1. Scan in patient paperwork and verify exams in PACS with all necessary information for Radiologist to read exam.

1. Maintains continuing education asrequiredto ensure ARRT certification.

1. Maintain clean and stocked workarea.

1. Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

• Annandale, NJ 08801: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• ARRT Certification (Required)
• NJ State License (Required)
