Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in Ann Arbor.

Job Information:

• Ref. #: 201703

• Student: 1 adult (female) who has recently relocated to the US

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's premises near IMRA America in Ann Arbor, MI (48105)

• Preferred start date: ASAP

Details:

• Availability: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon

• Lesson Frequency: Three times per week

• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session

• Current English level: Advanced - Wants to be assessed by the teacher

• Native language: Portuguese; also speaks French

• Student’s language needs and goals: Being accepted into an MBA school and entering the American job market

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
