This is a senior architecture role focused on shaping scalable, secure, and resilient technology across an organization. You will provide architectural direction to engineering teams while helping align technology decisions with business strategy and product roadmaps. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with enterprise-level thinking, communication, and coaching. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE teams across distributed environments. Your work will influence platforms, products, integrations, and long-term architectural standards. • Provide architectural direction, design guidance, and technical decision-making support to engineering teams working across distributed environments and time zones.
• Design and guide scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable systems using modern approaches including domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, microservices, and service-oriented patterns.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear architecture diagrams, documentation, standards, reference designs, and guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with product managers, engineering leaders, and technical leads to ensure architecture supports business objectives, product roadmaps, and strategic priorities.
• Lead and participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, solution walkthroughs, and technical mentoring across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to strengthen observability, reliability, monitoring, and overall operational maturity.
• Oversee architectural integration patterns across internal platforms, external vendor systems, and third-party APIs.
• Influence technology decisions without relying on formal authority by building consensus, demonstrating technical credibility, and delivering measurable results.
• Contribute to and help facilitate an architecture Community of Practice, sharing patterns, reference designs, guardrails, and lessons learned to improve delivery consistency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years working in architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, cloud-native applications, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core/C#, React or Angular, and Microsoft Azure, including services such as App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Event Grid, and Azure Monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven design, CQRS, and performance and scalability engineering.
• Experience producing architecture documentation and diagrams, including UML and data-flow representations.
• Proven ability to influence without authority across product, engineering, and technical leadership organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and maintain alignment across distributed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor diverse engineering teams and build strong relationships across technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in mortgage, lending, fintech, or financial services is preferred.
• Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Developer Associate certification is a plus.
• Experience with high-scale, production-critical environments, external vendor integrations, and globally distributed engineering teams is advantageous.
