This is a senior technical role focused on building highly reliable endpoint security software across major operating systems.
You’ll contribute to agent-based cybersecurity services designed to protect organizations and process security data at scale.
The role combines hands-on software development with system design, technical leadership, and mentorship.
You’ll take ownership of complex technical initiatives from design through delivery while maintaining high standards for performance, reliability, and code quality.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Security, and DevOps teams to develop robust technical solutions for evolving cybersecurity challenges.
A strong understanding of operating system internals and system-level programming will be essential to solving complex endpoint security problems.

• Develop highly reliable code for agent-based cybersecurity services and their deployment across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Own complex technical initiatives from architecture and design through implementation, delivery, and ongoing improvement.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including high-level designs, architecture specifications, and implementation guidance.
• Drive engineering excellence across code quality, system performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Apply strong system design and programming expertise to solve complex endpoint security and operating-system-level challenges.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers by providing guidance on technical design, development practices, troubleshooting, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to define and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Help ensure software development practices support secure, resilient, and dependable cybersecurity products.

• 8–12+ years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or a closely related technical discipline, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership capacity.
• Deep expertise in one or more system-level programming languages, such as C++ or Rust.
• Strong knowledge of operating system internals and experience developing software that operates close to the operating-system level.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives from conception through successful delivery.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across a development team.
• Experience working in environments where engineering excellence, software reliability, performance, and quality are critical.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, security data processing, and endpoint security concepts.
• Experience working on an agent-based software team, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Strong system design, problem-solving, architecture, and technical decision-making skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Security, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex problems, and operate effectively in a fast-moving technical environment.

• Base salary range of $86,000–$265,700 USD annually, depending on skills, experience, location, and job-family level.
