Recruiter / Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Downtown Wilmington | Full-Time On-Site (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Reports To: Vice President of Human Resources

What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
You’ll lead the recruiting process and help create an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish. Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define job requirements, and attract top talent
- Managing recruitment efforts through the ADP Recruiting platform
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date job postings and weekly open position reports
- Coordinating external recruiting efforts, including agencies and headhunter relationships
- Managing internship programs and participating in career fairs and networking events
- Overseeing video interview coordination through SparkHire, including writing interview questions
- Supporting seamless onboarding for new hires within ADP
Employee Relations & HR Support
You’ll serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers while helping foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and fairness
- Manage leave administration, including FMLA and ADA
- Coordinate unemployment responses and represent the organization during hearings when needed
Benefits, Compliance & HR Operations
You’ll play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring compliance across multiple HR functions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution
- Coordinate open enrollment and support compensation communication timelines
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting including ACA, 401(k), NDT, and EEO-1 reporting
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate HR analytics and reporting
- Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and HR process improvements
- Help maintain and update HR SharePoint resources and communications
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in recruiting, employee relations, and leave management
- Solid understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow and Microsoft Office Suite
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
