Do you want to grow your architecture career with a firm that is shaping communities across the Southeast? Are you looking for the opportunity to lead impactful projects while working alongside collaborative, talented professionals who value creativity, quality and innovation? GMC is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our rapidly growing Tampa office and help deliver meaningful architectural solutions across an expanding portfolio of work.

Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is a multi-disciplined Architecture and Engineering firm consistently ranked among the top design firms in the Southeast and nationally by ENR and BD+C. • Create compelling graphics, visual storytelling materials, and polished client presentations.
  • Fluently navigate Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint in a collaborative, efficient, and fast-paced team environment.

  • Work in a team environment
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Have proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel required

You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical and construction document production experience – retail experience preferred
  • Understanding of building codes, construction methods, building systems, and engineering systems
  • Working knowledge and practice skills of architectural product systems
  • Working knowledge of A&E work standards, processes, and policies
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to manage deadlines and prioritize assignments
  • Understanding of the tasks associated with the preparation of construction documents
