REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of campus grounds preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with the community, building relationships or equivalent customer service experience
- Networking and relationship-building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism
- The ability to work independently while displaying initiative
- Friendly, positive, energetic, outgoing
- Dependable; punctual and regular attendance
- Ability to work well in a team environment and support the credit union’s mission and values
JOB SUMMARY:
- Representing Neches FCU at Lamar University’s campus, ensuring visibility and awareness of our branch
- Educating and informing the Lamar community about our products and services available at the Branch
- Seeking out opportunities on the Lamar Campus
- Supporting business development initiatives on campus and collaborating with the Community Impact team to assist with various campus events.
- Conducting in-class sessions on financial education
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with Lamar students, faculty, and staff.
- Delivering exceptional member service by answering inquiries and resolving members concerns promptly and effectively
- Providing guidance and information to members on ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) services
- Logging and tracking account openings
- Monitoring inventory levels of promotional materials specific to Lamar University
- Conducting end-of-day balancing and processing tasks
- Completing various transaction reports
- Other duties as assigned
Classification: Non-exempt
Location: Lamar University Branch located in the Setzer Student Center
Hours: Scheduled for no more than 29 hours per week between the hours of: Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 2:00PM with some evenings and weekends at Lamar events as scheduled.
