Job Description: Temporary Ferry Passenger Counter

Position Title: Passenger Counter
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, based on assigned shift
Location: To be confirmed
Employment Type: Temporary Assignment

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to support a temporary Passenger Counter assignment. The selected individuals will count and record passenger activity, maintain accurate passenger count records, and assist with reporting passenger volumes during designated operating hours.

This is a short-term assignment requiring punctuality, accuracy, and the ability to work in a passenger service environment.

Work Schedule

• First Shift: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Employees will be assigned to one of the shifts based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Count passengers boarding and exiting at designated locations.
• Record passenger counts accurately using the provided tracking sheets, forms, or electronic tools.
• Monitor passenger activity during assigned shift hours.
• Maintain accurate daily records and submit passenger count reports as instructed.
• Communicate discrepancies, unusual passenger activity, or operational issues to the designated supervisor.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines while working in passenger areas.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure consistent passenger counting and reporting.
• Arrive on time and remain at the assigned location for the scheduled shift.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Basic counting, recordkeeping, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with a team.
• Basic computer or mobile-device skills for recording passenger counts, if required.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, depending on the assigned location.

Assignment Details

This is a temporary assignment with a defined end date of November 20, 2026. Continued employment beyond the assignment period is not guaranteed.

Candidates must be available for the assigned shift and the required duration of the assignment.
