Ortho OIC (Orthopaedic Immediate Care)

Ortho OIC is seeking a dependable, patient-focused PRN Medical Front Desk Receptionist to support our orthopaedic immediate care team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office while providing an excellent patient experience.

Experience with AthenaOne and Phreesia is a plus, but we welcome candidates with strong medical front desk skills and a willingness to learn. Hourly rate $20-25/hour

• Greet patients warmly and provide a professional, welcoming first impression.
• Check patients in and out, verify demographic and insurance information, and update patient records.
• Assist patients with registration, electronic intake forms, and check-in processes.
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries.
• Collect copayments and other patient balances in accordance with office policies.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient information and ensure required documentation is completed.
• Communicate effectively with medical assistants, providers, and other team members to support efficient patient flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and waiting area.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.

• Previous medical front desk or medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records.
• AthenaOne and Phreesia experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a busy clinical setting.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to provide PRN coverage as needed.

• PRN (as needed) on Saturdays 8am-6pm
