Miller Pipeline is hiring a CDL Operator toassist the bore crewin the safety, planning, execution, and management of all phases of horizontal directional drilling (HDD).
Main Responsibilities:
- Install both steel and plastic pipe of various diameters.
- Keep up with preventative maintenance of the equipment and tooling.
- Follow strict HDD policies set forth by the company and/or customer.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve issues that may arise.
- Submit all production paperwork and records which may include as-builts to company and/or customer whether it be in paper or digital format.
- Plan bores, including how to combat various ground conditions.
- Communicate effectively in a team environment.
Required Qualifications:
Prior heavy equipment operating experience.
Valid Class A CDL with all necessary endorsements.
Minimum 2 years locating with DCI equipment, SE to Falcon F5 or newer.
Proficient with Vermeer HDD equipment, knowing its capabilities and limitations.
Ability to travel around the area.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customers operator qualifications.
