Position summary:
-
Responsible for oversight with the Rehab Director and Director Ambulatory Therapy Services for administrative and clinical functions of therapy services and activities in assigned areas. Provides leadership, supervises, and mentors staff as delegated. Communicates and enforces values, policies, and procedures of the department and hospital; monitors financial and patient satisfaction performance and patient care appropriate to licensure. Collaborates with the director(s) and is responsible for participating in and using independent judgment in the hiring, supervising, training, performance management, and evaluation of staff. Assists in overseeing operations in more than one practice. Assists in marketing and developing business relationships and referral sources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech/Language Pathology program or equivalent for licensure

Required length and type of experience:
-
Five years’ experience in patient care, three years’ experience in some aspect of Rehabilitation management, i.e. participation in a process improvement, payroll, quality improvement
-

Required licensure, certification or registry:
-
Current licensure in the state of Ohio, CPR, other licenses as appropriate to the individual’s profession, i.e. NBCOT
