Procurement Coordinator at Graniti Vicentia LLC – South Houston, Texas

What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Graniti Vicentia is looking for experienced Buyers I to join our team. You will bring strong organizational, communication and be able to be flexible while still maintaining your projects schedules.

Responsibilities:

• As Buyer I, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including entering and issuing purchase orders as needed
• Ensuring that orders are within established margins
• Tracking order progression
• Requesting and monitoring vendor payments
• Assisting with creating and maintaining brand price lists
• Creating product-specific spreadsheets to assist with item costing
• Researching alternate suppliers
• Monitoring inventory levels of stocked items and placing orders according
• Assisting and supporting project managers on a daily basis with purchasing issues.

What You Will Need:

• Project oriented
• Negotiation and vendor management
• Create Task list and follow through
• Prioritize daily objectives
• Category Research
• Cost Analysis
• Inventory experience a plus
• Accounting knowledge a plus
• Manufacturing background --- Not required but a plus

ADA Compliance:

• Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (80% of the time).
• Must be able to read and type, as this is a highly computer/ technology driven position.
• Must be able to lift 10+ pounds (samples of products) and load onto shelves/ staging area for presentation/ review.
