About This Position
Derby Green Charge Nurse - Long Term Care
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Job Requirements
Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
Experience: None. On-the-job training provided.
License and Certificates Required: Valid and Current Unconditioned Vermont Nurse License, Basic Life Support (BLS): (ASAP following hire; must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
Reporting Relationships: Director of Nursing
Equipment Utilized: Electronic Medical Record, PC, Kiosk, Patient equipment appropriate to area/unit.
Part Time Charge Nurse – Long Term Care
- Schedule: Part -time
- Shift: Evening with every other weekend requirement
- Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM
