Role Summary
As an Architectural Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting existing and developing new business opportunities in consultation with Fellowes Contract Interiors Independent Rep. Group(s), Fellowes Regional Managers and VP and Fellowes Brands dealers. Focus will be on building modular wall distribution network for modular walls, working alongside designers to quote and close projects, and build influencer network.
In This Role, You Will...
- Develop and manage the architectural solutions pipeline and convert projects to orders
- Participate and ensure AS strategic initiatives are driven to conclusion.
- Communicate pipeline and ensures CRM is current
- Develop new business networking opportunities and relationships to identify, cultivate, and close potential sales projects.
- Develop and maintain key business-to-business relationships with end-users and Fellowes's Independent Rep. Group(s) and dealers.
- Assist AS design team resources when AS designers are at capacity
- Assist Project management resources when PM's are at capacity
- Collaboratively work with Fellowes Walls and AQM Products dealer sales force members to ensure Fellowes products have name recognition and are preferred products within their company product portfolios.
- Call-on and influence A&D firms, Corporate Real Estate firms (i.e., CBRE, JLL, Colliers, Savills, Cushman & Wakefield) to get Fellowes Walls and AQM products specified and selected for projects.
- Evaluate dealer, GC and design build capabilities in relation to Fellowes AS go to market strategies. Assist in formulating effective action plans for specific areas of development or provides recommendations to sever business relationships.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Fellowes architectural products and capabilities as well as competitive product lines.
- Communicate with Regional Sales Manager on evolving marketplace competitive and product issues.
- Travels up to 30 percent of time away from office to dealer locations, account locations, A&D firms, etc. to make sales presentations, call-on existing accounts, view installations, problem solve, etc.
- Maintain and share with our stake holders, a thorough understanding of the application and capabilities of our product and how we stack-up compared to the competition, including conventional construction.
- Consistently meets or exceeds identified individual and team sales goals.
What You Bring to the Team
- A proven record of results and working under measurable goals.
- Possesses the capability to work independently with minimal direct supervision to achieve individual sales goals.
- Effective negotiating and closing skills.
- Salesforce/CRM management
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to follow clear operational processes
- Ability to read and manually takeoff plans to determine scope and budget pricing
- Ability to read and analyze architectural specifications to determine compliance and/or specificity of our product benefits.
- Understanding basic codes and compliance to those codes to protect the company and distribution partners
- Understand basic commercial interior construction and the required interface options
The hiring range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
