POSITION SUMMARY: Provide a pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria by maintaining cleanliness and providing tasty, attractive meals for all customers. Preparation of foods is in accordance with State and Federal guidelines, Hospital infection control procedures and department standards to ensure protection from contamination, cross-contamination, and food borne illness.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree(GED).
• 1 year of food services experience in a production kitchen.
• State of Alaska Food Worker Card within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of safe food handling techniques.

PREFERRED:

• 1 year of food services experience in a healthcare setting.
