Finance Associate II at BrightFarms Inc – Irvington, New York

Position Description: Assist management in the formulation of overall strategic direction and work with Director(s) and CFO to develop insightful analyses for executives. Prepare budgets and forecasting and report to management on key variances. Provide and interpret financial information and reports to management. Meet with department’s senior manager heads monthly to develop and update budgets and forecasts. Track and analyze key business drivers, competitive environment, trends and operating metrics. Create and run models based on projections and business case and pricing scenarios. Refine and update master model for BrightFarms. Assist in creation of investor and Board materials. Position is fixed based in Irvington, NY office; however, telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days per week.

Required Experience/Skills: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Management, Business or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience working in accounting, investment banking or finance. Experience must include:

Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Financial modeling including advanced Excel models and PowerBI semantic modeling
• In-depth financial and operating analyses

One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Creating in-depth pricing scenario analyses and FP&A variance PPT presentations
• Creating and managing budget templates
• Managing budget processes
• Managing General Manager monthly variance reporting and meetings
• Creating and managing customer margin and product margin tools
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
