Job Summary
Southend Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Technician. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that a pharmacy or healthcare facility complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Their duties are specialized and often administrative, with a focus on quality assurance and risk management. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact on the safety and well-being of our patients.
Please note that this evening shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM; however, hours may be adjusted based on business needs, and flexibility in availability is expected to support teams and operational demands.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense medication and fulfill medication orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling bottles, vials, and oral suspensions
Track and manage medication inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulations
Ensure timely and precise medication distribution to healthcare providers
Monitor and replenish medication supplies as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
What We Require
High school diploma or GED
Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with emphasis on compounding and fulfillment
Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
Experience maintaining consistent punctuality and reliability, with the ability to effectively adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic pharmacy environment
Preferred Requirement
Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the PTCB
Prior experience using Google Docs and related Google Workspace applications
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems such as Lifefile, PioneerRx, or QS/1
Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy environment
