Responsibilities:

The Senior Systems Engineer will support design and development of new ground station architecture as well as providing support for antenna ground station operation and maintenance programs to ensure the operability of remotely located tracking stations.

• Responsible for design, development, integration, test and operations and maintenance of both new and existing ground stations
• Be able to lead and support on-site station operations  

Requirements:

• Proficient electrical/electronicsHW and system design and development experience in RF telemetry systems
• Design review preparation and presentation experiences with documented analysis / calculations to meet design requirements
• Experiences in drafting electrical and/or mechanical schematics using CAD (including Visio, AutoCAD, OrCAD, and other similar software)
• Experiences in integration and test to sell off process including procedures and reports generation. 
• Proven problem solving and troubleshooting experiences involving multi layers of systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to team leading, interface with international customers and senior leadership
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills
• Must be flexible and able to handle occasional heavy workload
• Willing to learn and expand systems knowledge
• Experience with proposal activities and business development
• Exposure to Software language, such as C++ would be plus  
• Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, some of which will include multiple-week trips
• US Citizenship is required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Systems Engineering. 

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in one or more areas of following: RF engineering, antenna, baseband handling, digital processing, control and monitor processing, and network and satellite communication
