Position Summary:
The EDT Lab Student Assistant will support students and faculty in the Engineering Design Technology program and Collab Lab. This position helps maintain a clean and organized lab environment, assists with basic student needs, and contributes to program promotion and improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist students in the EDT and Collab Labs during open lab hours.
Help maintain lab cleanliness and organization.
Assist with developing, gathering, distributing promotional materials for the EDT program.
Help monitor and maintain lab equipment and support basic student training, under supervision.
Assist with meeting and presentation preparations (room setup, materials, basic technology support).
The preceding duties have been provided as examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments as needed.
Education:
Active/Previous EDT Student'
Skills:
Interest in Engineering Design Technology or related fields.
Reliable, organized, and comfortable working with computers.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to assist students and staff.
This position is a part of the Federal work-study program, to qualify you must be a State Fair Community College student enrolled in the current semester and eligible for Financial Aid thorough the Federal Work-study program.
Employment will require a criminal background check at college expense. Preference is given to Missouri residents.
