Description:

We are looking for a Woodworking Assembly Technician. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble wood components with precision and care, ensuring every piece meets our standards of craftsmanship. You’ll help keep production running smoothly in a safe and efficient environment, playing a key part in continuing our tradition of quality and excellence that customers trust.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Assemble high-quality wood components and ladder parts following production drawings and established guidelines.
  2. Prepare wood products for finishing, packaging, or secondary processes.
  3. Perform quality checks on wood components to ensure they meet company craftsmanship standards.
  4. Identify and report discrepancies, defects, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  5. Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  6. Assist in woodworking-related tasks such as sanding, cutting, drilling, and minor machine operation.
  7. Support the production of rolling ladders and other specialty wood products by ensuring accurate measurements, alignment, and fit.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and stand for long periods.
  • Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques (required).
  • Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in measurements and cuts.
  • Protective equipment may be required per training guidelines.
