Learning Center Youth Camp Counselor in Berlin, Maryland at Twisters Inc

Berlin Education Station is seeking energetic and enthusiastic camp counselors for our summer camp program, catering to children ages 4-12 years. Join us for a summer filled with weekly field trips, classroom projects, outdoor activities, and much more!

Position: Youth Camp Counselor
Location: Berlin, MD
Job Type: Seasonal Full Time
Salary: Commensurate with experience and education

Responsibilities:

• Oversee indoor camper activities
• Guide a range of outdoor activities
• Ensure camper safety and monitor their activities
• Instruct campers in daily routines and cleanup tasks
• Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines
• Work one-on-one with campers
• Instruct and organize camper projects (arts and crafts, dramatics, etc.)
• Encouraging to campers and patient when instructing
• Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor

Requirements:

• Able to work from June 1-August 28, 2026. Camp runs from June 15 - August 28.
• High school degree or equivalent; previous childcare experience preferred
• First aid and CPR training and certification preferred
• Must be comfortable in the water and going on all field trips
• Valid driver's license. Willing to drive a van with campers.
• Criminal background and fingerprint check required
