Facility Maintenance / Shopkeep at Carli Suspension – Lake Elsinore, California

The Maintenance & Shopkeep position will consist of the following duties/assignments:

• Assist in the maintenance/repair of shop equipment such as compressors, tools, ladders, airlines, forklifts, vehicles, and lifts.
• Schedule, Track, and Perform routine maintenance inspections and services on shop equipment/vehicles
• Facilities maintenance and repairs
• Simple plumbing, landscape, electrical, and fabrication duties.
• Housekeeping (sweeping, cleaning, emptying trash)
• Disposal of scrap metal and borings
• Marking and identifying raw materials
• Organizing materials and supplies
• Requesting repair parts, cleaning supplies, or tools
• Running a magnet over parking lot to pick up nails
• Organizing and segregating shipping pallets, disposing of broken pallets
• Transport raw materials from one place to another
• Assemble materials, tools, and equipment as required
• Assist in moving product around warehouse
• Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required
• Assist in oil recycling campaign
• Assist Operations Management as requested
• Other duties to be assigned as needed

• Prior experience in a maintenance setting preferred but not required
• Familiar with production equipment and machinery preferable
• Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects
• Self-driven and hard worker
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required
• Able to stand for long hours at a time
• Able to withstand hot temperatures in the production room
• Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 75 lbs, 150 pounds in a team-lift.
• Must maintain a safe work manner at all times.
