GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Executive / Director Business Development is responsible for supporting the Chief Planning, Innovation & Accountable Care Officer in achieving our company’s desired growth initiatives. This role will work across the organization with key leadership to develop / implement detailed business plans that help the company realize business objectives, increase company volumes and improve revenue growth. Business Development Executive / Director Business Development will maintain share responsibility for data analytics, assist with market research, oversee the companies programs to grow both Medicare and Medicaid business, and maintain monthly / quarterly / annual reporting functions associated with operational / clinical / financial / strategic performance dashboards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess company’s goals and assist in development of plans to reach those goals
  • Develop and support leaders in the development / implementation of business plans that will help the company to grow in terms of volume and revenue
  • Develop and maintain internal & external relationships that will assist in future growth
  • Assist in researching and documenting industry, competitor and evolving market trends
  • Assess and report on the company’s operational, clinical, financial and strategic performance by maintaining company’s metrics system
  • Provide execution leadership and support to very important growth projects
  • Ability to facilitate small groups / leaders in the development of business plans for their assigned areas of responsibility
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Workday involves little or no physical effort in terms of lifting, twisting, standing, bending and some activities that involve walking will be required to be performed. The associate may be required to travel to multiple health clinic sites periodically and must be required to work flexible hours to accommodate needs of the work. Safely lift computing (ex. laptop) and communication equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is normally performed inside with a controlled climate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in business administration, healthcare administration, marketing or healthcare / clinical related fields
  • Experience in healthcare environments; preferably physician practice environments
  • Minimum of three years of experience in business and / or business consulting role; and 1 year in implementing business projects
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with business stakeholders and others outside the organization
  • Self-motivated

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Formal experience as a business planner and / or business consultant
  • Understanding of market research and data analysis
  • Analytical mind with problem solving capabilities
  • Knowledge of current and emerging internal and external issues impacting physician practices and/or federally qualified health centers
