Job Description
Who You Are:
You're a Salesforce developer who takes pride in clean, maintainable work and the discipline to ship it. You're equally comfortable in Apex and in a conversation with a sales ops lead about why a Flow keeps timing out. You've worked in established orgs where every change has history behind it. You see an inherited platform — built by smart people under real deadlines — as an opportunity to modernize, not a warning sign. You're energized by collaborating and executing on the design decisions.
Who We Are:
Established in 1989 Kings III is a growing, dynamic company. We’re a six-time winner of DFW Top Workplaces and nationally as a USA Today Top Workplace in 2020-2025. We’re on a mission for change – for our communities, our customers, and our company. If you see yourself as a builder and change agent, this is the right place for you.
More than 12% of our employees have been with the company for 10+ years, and an impressive 25% have been with us 5+ years. How do we do it? Here's what our employees say. We seek out creative employees who love opportunities for continuous learning and growth. We value innovation in not just our products, but the way we work, sell, and grow every day. We celebrate change and are always looking for ways to do things better!
What You’ll Do:
- Inventory and modernize automation, migrating legacy solutions into Flow + Apex
- Build/enhance user experiences with Lightning Web Components
- Own the Salesforce side integration with our adjacent systems (ERP, Custom Application, etc.)
- Establish source control, branching, and CI/CD practices
- Set the standard for when to use Flow versus Apex
- Modernize permission architecture and sharing rules
- Responsible for system documentation
What You’ll Bring:
- Required:
- · 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development with production Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- · Demonstrated integration experience — REST or SOAP callouts, and at least one external system you connected end-to-end.
- · Strong SOQL/SOSL
- · Comfort with the Salesforce security model
- · Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (or equivalent demonstrable experience).
- · Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
· Experience modernizing or refactoring an inherited Salesforce org rather than only greenfield builds.
· Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or any Application Architect-track certification.
· Exposure to Adobe Sign, ZoomInfo, or Demand Tools (Validity) integrations.
What We Do:
Our mission is simple - We provide critical communications services to help people in distress.
Our Core Values are even simpler:
1. Honesty & Integrity
2. Service to the customer above all else
3. Do what is right
