You’ll partner closely with teams across Daxko and serve as a trusted resource for customers, ensuring every interaction reflects clarity, care, and expertise.

What you’ll do:
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on payments, supporting customers and internal teams with everything from merchant account updates to escalations
  • Investigate and resolve complex payment issues, ensuring timely, thoughtful, and accurate outcomes
  • De-escalate challenging situations with empathy and professionalism, helping customers feel heard and supported
  • Lead training sessions that build confidence and understanding of payment systems and processes across teams
  • Perform detailed reconciliations across transactions, settlements, and fees to ensure accuracy and transparency
  • Identify trends in payment-related issues and recommend improvements to processes, documentation, and workflows
  • Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Support teams to align on solutions and advocate for customer needs
  • Maintain and share up-to-date knowledge of payment platforms, processors, and industry best practices
  • Document issues, resolutions, and improvements to strengthen team knowledge and consistency
  • Respond to high-impact or global issues with urgency and clear communication
  • Consistently meet and exceed performance goals related to quality, efficiency, and customer experience

What you bring:
  • Experience working within the payments ecosystem, including credit card processing, ACH, disputes, PCI compliance, and merchant funding
  • A problem-solving mindset—you look beyond the immediate fix to improve the bigger picture
  • Strong judgment and a commitment to protecting sensitive customer data
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across teams
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Curiosity and a desire to stay current on payment trends and evolving technology

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing support role

  • Experience managing customer escalations and complex financial or transactional issues
  • Proficiency with standard computer systems and tools

Preferred:
