Licensed Practical Nurse (LN II) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are looking for a bright, energetic LPN to work in a busy Internal Medicine Clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills. Attention to detail, flexibility, dependability and having good communication skills are required for this position. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: administering medications, assisting with medication management, triaging patients, taking vital signs, EKG's, answering and returning phone calls, refills and assisting with phone calls. Will work with insurance companies with pre-authorizations and referrals. Hospital orientation and department orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, training on our enterprise hospital EHR system. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5 pm.
