Position Information

The Student Health Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care exclusively to University of California, Riverside (UCR) students through Student Health Services. The Physician delivers high-quality primary and urgent care services that integrate medical treatment, prevention, health education, and holistic health principles, supporting student success, continuity of care, and whole-person wellness.Please be advised that applicants must submit a cover letter and a curriculum vitae/resume for full consideration. Candidates may also be required to conduct a presentation as part of the interview process.The full salary range for the Student Health Physician is $152,157 - $390,471 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $275,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Knowledge of preventive medicine, health promotion, and patient education principles. Knowledge of California laws and regulations governing medical practice, prescribing, and patient confidentiality. Skill in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing, and follow-up care in accordance with evidence-based standards and applicable laws. Ability to provide patient-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care while maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
