Compensation: $120,000-$160,000

THE POSITION: Recruiting Manager

The Recruiting Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for building and executing the organizations recruitment strategy, which is currently a de-centralized model that delegates primary hiring responsibility to hiring managers for corporate roles, plus partial support for field and manufacturing roles. The Recruiting Manager oversees all aspects of talent acquisition, including managing the applicant tracking system (ATS), posting roles, leading and developing one recruiter, and managing the recruiting budget as well as any external recruiters used on an as-needed basis. The person in this role will also be responsible for owning recruitment for select teams/roles, including sourcing and interviewing candidates and liaising with hiring managers. The Recruiting Manager will partner closely with business leaders within the functions and cross-functionally with other members of the People Team, to ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Talent Systems Ownership

  • Manage the endtoend recruiting budget and vendor portfolio with a focus on implementing scalable processes that leverage automation and AI while optimizing spend, improving recruiting efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize the ATS, and surrounding tech stack, ensuring data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and compliance. Lead vendor management, system enhancements, reporting, integrations, and user training.
  • Oversee the opening of all job requisitions and assist hiring managers and other People team members in using and optimizing the ATS for shared recruiting processes (e.g., job evaluations, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding transition).
  • Maintain the companys Careers page and external job postings to maximize applicant flow and candidate engagement. Maintain and amplify the TSS brand through consistent messaging and candidate experience strategies.
  • Monitor recruitment analytics and deliver regular dashboards and insights to leadership.

Recruiting & Sourcing

  • Own recruitment for Sales and Corporate roles as an individual contributor, and own or oversee recruitment for other strategically important positions as needed.
  • Build strong talent pipelines using both traditional and AI-enabled tools to increase reach, speed and quality of candidates.
  • Directly manage and mentor one field recruiter, providing coaching, workload oversight, and professional development.
  • Allocate recruiting resources efficiently to meet hiring targets and support organizational growth, including by onboarding contract or external recruiters as-needed.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance recruiting culture.
  • Ensure that recruiting processes comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and People Business Partners to help define selection criteria, and interview processes; provide counsel to hiring managers and PBPs on job requirements, screening strategies.
  • Communicate clearly with business leaders on search progress, risks, and market insights.
  • Support workforce planning and headcount forecasting.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including at least 12 years leading or supervising others.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and filling salaried and hourly positions.
  • Curious mindset and comfort with leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve workflow and productivity.
  • Strong expertise in ATS management and reporting. Experience with Fountain ATS a plus.
  • Proven ability to build and execute recruiting strategies at multiple levels.
  • Willingness to be hands-on and flexible with roles and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and compliance requirements.
