Wire Transfer Specialist at Regent Bank – Tulsa, Oklahoma

Summary:

The Wire Transfer Specialist, as a member of the Operations Team that supports the wire processing for Regent Bank, is responsible for performing various wire transfer duties in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. The Wire Transfer Specialist interacts with various bank personnel and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives and originates/verifies incoming and outgoing wire transfer requests
• Complete call backs to clients for wire approvals
• Track and monitor wire volumes
• Monitor wire activity for fraudulent activity
• Performs daily wire balancing
• Maintains consistent compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory laws
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of banking experience in the position of Teller, New Accounts, and Deposit Operations. One (1) year of bank operational experience preferred, but not required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of banking processes, procedures, and workflow
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to multitask and apply analytical and problem-solving skills
• All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background, credit, and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Sitting for long periods of time.
