About This Position

Our Adult Program Drivers provide safe, reliable transportation for adult passengers with special needs. This role offers consistent income, and long‑term career growth.
Unlike school bus routes, Adult Day Program routes operate year‑round with no summer or school‑break periods.
- Year‑round employment – no unpaid school weeks off
- Average 24–30 hours per week (some routes offer more hours)
- Excellent pay with CPR premium opportunities (required by route only)

Van Driver: $28.20 per hour
Large Bus Driver: $33.39 per hour
- All drivers start on van routes
- Advancement to large bus is based on seniority and availability
- Routes requiring CPR certification pay is an additional $2.00 per hour
- Van with CPR required route: $30.20/hr
- Large bus with CPR required route: $35.39/hr
- Guaranteed minimum: 23.75 hours per week
- Average: 24–30 hours per week
- Some routes may exceed the average depending on assignment
- Consistent work all 12 months of the year
- Monday through Friday Schedule

- Year 2: 13 days PTO
- Year 3: 19 days PTO
- Year 4+: 25 days PTO
Can accrue 56 hours of paid sick time annually

- Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and program staff
- Monitor passenger well‑being during transport
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and route instructions
- Maintain a calm, professional, and respectful environment
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Valid NYS CDL required
- CDL training and support available, we encourage all interested candidates to apply
- Good driving record and reliable attendance
- Ability to pass DOT drug test and physical
