Physical Therapist Assistant

Position Summary:
Assist the Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities.

Responsibilities:
• Work cooperatively with medical staff, case managers, social work and adjustors
• Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports patient status to a physical therapist as well as report to a manager
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
• Current Idaho Physical Therapy Assistant License required
• BLS required

Working Conditions:
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
• Typical equipment used in a clinical job
