DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive search strategy to create diverse pipelines of talent, with an emphasis on sourcing superior legal talent to build our team of attorneys;
- Utilizing ADP Workforce Now to advertise positions, track candidates, screen resumes, schedule and hold phone and in-person interviews, compile interviewer feedback, create and send offer letters, and shepherd the hiring process towards decision status;
- Develops and executes a career site and social media strategy to source passive candidates;
- Learn and share talent acquisition best practices across the organization. Coach and guide managers through complex and nuanced conversations, as well as key aspects of the recruitment workflow;
- Conduct informational interviews, including forwarding candidates to hiring managers as appropriate;
- Provide input to A|P’s scouting strategy along with other members of the HR team;
- Manage the Firm’s recruiting accounts, including but not limited to Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and Momentive Software;
- Cultivate strong professional relationships with candidates, Firm management, and external staffing agencies;
- Ensure compliance with federal and state talent acquisition laws and stays up to date with any changes;
- Coordinate with the CFO to obtain necessary approvals for postings and salary offers and to ensure that all salary offers are equitable and within the pay range for the position
- Educates staff about, and manages, the employee referral bonus benefit;
- Other tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or a related field preferred; a combination of direct legal recruiting experience and HR related certifications combined with demonstrable recruiting successes may substitute for the Bachelor’s Degree;
- Minimum of three years’ recruiting experience required; experience recruiting for a law firm preferred;
- Experience with leveraging social media for talent acquisition;
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus.
