About This Position
· Industry specific knowledge – must have direct working experience in food service business, advanced knowledge of bakery sales, and direct experience communicating with and presenting to decision makers.
· General business knowledge – must have working knowledge of business growth strategies and profitability.
· Job related knowledge – Experience calling on established and emerging restaurant chain, education, healthcare and contract management firms is a must. Must have effective skills in selling, negotiation, leadership through example, decision making , communication (written and oral), and enthusiasm for the position
· Leadership experience – must have effective skills in time management, motivating customers, teamwork, follow through, and coaching and mentoring.
· Written and oral communication skills – must have above average skills and knowledge of basic computer programs (Excel, Power Point, Word) ,have the ability to meet deadlines, and have solid written and verbal communication skills.
· Work planning, organization, and execution – Must be a self starter. Must be effective at planning and organizing.
· Physical capabilities – must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including lifting (min. 25 lbs.)
