Project Manager Lead Municipal Infrastructure and Civil Construction Projects

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital leader for a family-owned company with a 40-year legacy of excellence in civil construction. This role offers you the chance to manage high-impact municipal projects while working directly with a leadership team that values accountability over corporate red tape.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Direct all phases of municipal construction projects from initial groundbreaking through to final completion.

• Coordinate seamlessly with architects, engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure exact project specifications.

• Develop comprehensive project schedules and manage million-dollar budgets to maintain cost-effective operations.

• Select and oversee specialized subcontractors to ensure every phase of the build meets rigorous quality standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed project reports for clients and senior management.

• Resolve real-time technical and logistical site issues to prevent delays and ensure strict project delivery.

• Negotiate contracts and manage change orders to protect project integrity and company resources.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar leadership role.

• Proven experience managing municipal construction contracts including local, State, and Federal projects.

• Strong proficiency in project management software, specifically MS Project and Bluebeam.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and budgets simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

• OSHA 10 certification.

• Deep knowledge of local building regulations and safety protocols specific to the New York region.

• Deep knowledge of NYC park projects is a major plus for upcoming projects.
