About This Position

Description:

Department: Chemical

Status: Non-Exempt

We are seeking a qualified Chemical and Dish machine Service Technician who will be responsible for providing quality service in a courteous, respectful, and safe manner which aligns with our On-Board Values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage their given territory with exceptional service to customer accounts.
  • Install and maintain chemical dispensers at restaurants, laundry, grocery and health care facilities.
  • Install and maintain dish machines from under the counter to conveyor units at restaurants, grocery and health care facilities.
  • Conduct routine and thorough preventative maintenance visits at customer accounts to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Respond to and resolve emergency service calls during business hours (after hours/weekends when on call).
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with key individuals (customers, territory sales reps, suppliers, and co-workers).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Professional, flexible, and positive team player.
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills coupled with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, customer-facing environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Warewash, laundry, or similar experience are a plus.
  • Valid state driver license with clean driving record.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours with the possibility of mandatory overtime and on-call status.
  • Regular attendance is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Constant use of hand truck to lift, move and place items.
  • Must be able to safely tolerate heat or other inclement weather.
  • Ability to use power tools as needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material. Apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks
