POSITION SUMMARY

Utilizes the RN’s assessment of physical, spiritual and psychosocial needs in planning patient care. Delivers patient care under the direct supervision of the RN. Acts with RN in evaluating care delivered and own patient care actions in relation to patient outcomes. Demonstrates competencies (knowledge and skills) to work with all ages groups and types of patients in our population served; recognizing both needs specified to age, type or modifications and techniques required to provide care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or the equivalent

Experience: Experienced surgical technician, LNA or LPN preferred; will train others with necessary attitude and aptitude. Must be willing to work toward certification.
